The Music Tree Prep School is offering a special Chamber Orchestra experience for student string musicians in and around the Zachary area. The group will meet for eight Saturdays starting September 24th at 1:30 p.m. and is open to students who have taken private lessons or have played in a school orchestra.
The Chamber Orchestra will be led by Music Tree Faculty Deborah Riberio and Unusdean Errandonea. Violinist Deborah Riberio is the 2016 winner of the Sidney M. Blitzer Award in Violin Performance. A native of Brazil, Riberio won the honor by earning the top violinist spot in the LSU School of Music’s annual concerto competition.
Cellist Unusdean Errandonea was a scholarship student of Natalia Khoma at the College of Charleston and has performed in Europe, North and South America. He has been a featured soloist with the College of Charleston Chamber Orchestra. He is a former faculty member at Charles Academy of Music and holds a master’s degree cello performance from Louisiana State University.

The Music Tree, located in Zachary, La., offers private instruction in piano, voice, violin, viola, cello, guitar, saxophone, and percussion. In addition, we offer weekly classes in Music Theory and Preschool Music. Ensembles include Garage Band and Chamber Orchestra. All of the faculty are professional musicians, and are members of national organizations that provide performance and competition opportunities.
